Tribal Early Childhood Intervention Coordinator – This full time position serves as a direct service, intervention, coordination and family support role within the early childhood programs connected to the Hannahville K-12 school system. This position strengthens continuity of care for children and families from birth through kindergarten entry and transition, supporting Early Intervention services, school-readiness efforts, behavioral and social-emotional supports, early literacy development and coordination between IDEA Part B and Part C services. The primary focus of this role is to serve as the Early On Service Coordinator for children residing on the reservation who are referred to or eligible for Part C Early Intervention services. The coordinator is responsible for referrals, evaluations, IFSP development, service coordination, family support and transition planning to ensure that children and families receive timely, coordinated services. This position collaborates with families, teachers, FACE staff, administration, ISD personnel, service providers and community partners to support successful participation in early learning environments and smooth kindergarten transitions. This role is not responsible for overall program administration, staff supervision, grant management, budgeting or primary special education case management.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Social Work, Human Services, Psychology or a related field. Experience working with young children and families in early childhood, behavioral health, Early Intervention, special education or family support settings. Ability to collaborate effectively with families, educators, providers and multidisciplinary teams. Strong communication, organization, documentation and relationship building skills. Knowledge of child development, Early On services, IFSP processes, trauma-informed practices and positive behavior supports. Understanding of IDEA Part B and Part C services. Knowledge of Native culture, community values and family-centered practices.
WAGE: $21.00 - $22.50 dependent upon qualifications.
