le for cleaning and assisting the Environmental Services Supervisor at The Henry Ford Pistons Performance Center (PPC) and Little Caesars Arena (LCA) players locker room.
We are looking for a team member with a positive upbeat attitude that can maintain and clean, safe environment for our entire organization!
What you’ll be doing:
- Work under the direction of the EVS Supervisor, Manager, and team to maintain a sanitary environment in all areas at PPC and LCA Player locker room
- Assist EVS Supervisor and Manager to manage the EVS team members and processes at the PPC & LCA
- Clean and disinfect all restroom surfaces including toilets, sinks, walls, doors, mirrors, floors. Restock paper products, soap, etc.
- Empty all trash receptacles, replace liners, operate trash compactor
- Perform daily clean of offices, conference rooms, and copy rooms following the Pistons EVS Standard Operating Procedures
- Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of the PPC Practice courts, following a strict Standard Operating Procedure
- Perform high-level daily cleaning and maintenance of PPC weight room, Player/Coaches locker rooms, Saunas, Steam room, and other specialty areas
- Dust mop, sweep, mop, and/or run the auto-scrubber/vacuum on all floors
- Stairwell and elevator cleaning, including high/low dusting, elevator tracks, polishing stainless steel walls
- Perform cleaning services and other tasks for events held at PPC
- Ensure OSHA Industry standards are followed
- Laundering linen onsite at PPC
- Promote and exhibit The Detroit Pistons culture and core values
- Assist with conversions tasks at PPC such as placing tables, chairs, court covering, etc.
- Drive to LCA after each game to perform post-game cleans in the Player Locker Room
What we’re looking for:
- High school Diploma or equivalent experience is preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Positive upbeat attitude and ability to work under quick event timelines
- Able to work sustained periods of standing, sitting, walking, kneeling
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
