Position: Parts Sales Associate
Reports To: VP of Product Support
Status: Exempt
Position Responsibilities
Takes parts orders by phone or electronically. Processes the orders and is responsible for working within the Product Support organization to ensure timely delivery.
Assist the parts-sales administrator for parts coordination on all parts orders for fleet and individual operation, tracking parts issues as they relate to the parts catalogs and the MRP system, assist with day-to day parts issues as required, interface with other disciplines to verify and/or coordinate part number modifications in the company, and support Sales & Marketing and Product Support activities as required.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Investigates all significant parts orders assigned for accuracy of part number, application, and MRP system utilization.
- Oversees the finalization of quotes and/or orders and sees that all is submitted to the customer on time.
- Schedule all project phases identified in the parts delivery timeline.
- Manage the delivery timeline and the presentation of all requirements/documentation that may be required to support the program.
- Keep programs organized in such a manner that the program flows smoothly and, if necessary, can be handed over to another Coordinator. Achieve this by keeping both electronic and hard copy documentation of all client/vendor/internal communications, fax confirmations and e-mails.
- Work with Dealership/Representative network to supply part quotes.
- Assists with processing customer service work orders
- Assists with customer warranty and/or credit applications.
Employment Standards
Education: Associate degree - desired
Required Skills:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Access, Adobe products and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel required.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Ability to organize complex projects and work within a deadline driven environment.
- High energy level, capability in partnering with customers, results orientated, and ability to handle unstructured or unexpected situations.
- Strong analytical and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, manage complex workload and handle pressure.
