Position Summary:
The First Year Troop Support Specialist supports member retention by providing intentional support to new troops and troop leaders during their first year as a Girl Scout troop. The First Year Troop Support Specialist will provide support and mentoring to all first year troops in assigned geographic areas.
Position Qualifications:
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including regularly working evenings and weekends
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated skill in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn additional software programs as necessary
- Bachelor's degree with concentration in related field or equivalent
- Ability to travel to various service centers and to meetings throughout the designated territory.
Salary Range: $42,000 - $50,000
