A DAY IN THE LIFE AS AN ELECTRICAL/PANEL TECHNICIAN II
As an Electrical/Panel Technician II, you are a key member of our production team as you wire complete machines and systems for our automated equipment. Attention to detail is key as you run cables with precision per electrical schematics. Physical dexterity is important in this role as you work in a variety of positions including kneeling, bending, crouching, working overhead, and working on ladders. When you aren't busy wiring machines, you'll help wire and assemble the controls panels and subcomponents per specifications. Quality is critical for our equipment, so you may inspect and test finished products to locate defects, measure performance, determine any need for adjustment, and verify specified operation. QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN ELECTRICAL/PANEL TECHNICIAN II
- Understanding of fundamentals of electronics required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics required
- Ability to use both power and hand tools
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, organized and detail oriented, and ability to prioritize tasks
- Knowledge of measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, and tape measures
- Lift up to 25 pounds frequently, 50 pounds occasionally
- High school diploma or equivalent
WORK SCHEDULE AS AN ELECTRICAL/PANEL TECHNICIAN II
The typical schedule for this full-time 1st shift position is Monday - Thursday from 5:00 am to 2:30 pm, and Fridays from 5 am to 9 am with weekends free!
