Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, were looking to add an
Architecture and Technology Engineering- Wiring Systems
located in
Farmington Hills, MI
Reporting to the
Director, Wiring Harness Engineering
the
Architecture and Technology Engineering- Wiring Systems
will responsible for contributing to Flexs strategy, architecture and technology decisions for a product area. Leads by example. Required to manage via influencing cross functional teams.
What a typical day looks like:
Provide insights on product direction within a business group relative to technology and product direction to help grow revenue and margin contributions
Interacts with supply base to improve Flexs relationship
Engage customers as a technical leader at Flex
Meet regularly with engineering peers at Flexs customers
Work with cross functional technical teams
Deliver presentations to internal teams to provide insight and technical leadership
Meet regularly with business unit technical leadership to discuss technical insights
Champion business practices, processes, and procedure changes at Flex
Create and promote a culture of innovation at Flex
Support a winning culture
Develop patents/trade secrets to protect the Flexs intellectual property
Understand Flexs IP review process
Able to manage and protect highly sensitive information
The experience were looking to add to our team:
8 years of experience
Automotive industry experience
Previous wiring experience
Software programming/development experience
3 years of automotive architecture experience
Capital Harness tool experience prefer
