- Possession of a high school diploma or GED equivalent necessary.
- No specific work experience necessary.
- Must be 20 years old at time of appointment to Police Officer.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- A valid Michigan Driver's license and safe driving record required.
- May not be Michigan Commission on Law Enforcement Standards (MCOLES) certified or certifiable.
