EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Required:
- Instructional skills and knowledge base in mathematics
- Familiarity and success with utilizing formative, screening, and diagnostic tools with students to determine appropriate math instruction.
- Ability to utilize data from diagnostic tools.
- Successful experience in classroom instructional development, curriculum design, and assessment
- Bachelor’s degree in education with teaching experience
Preferred:
- Successful experience providing professional development training.
- Experience with the Essential Instructional Practices and Organizational Practices
- Deep understanding of how children learn mathematics.
- Skilled in Coaching, Consulting, Presenting & Facilitating
- Michigan School Administrator Certification
REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, and REGISTRATIONS
- Valid Michigan Teacher Certificate
