Associate Nurse Manager
The Associate Manager is the first line manager in the administration of nursing services. Assumes accountability for the patient, personnel and environment of the PACUS A&B ST. Provides overall leadership, direction, strategic planning, staffing and coordination for the Perianesthesia areas in concert with the organization's Mission, Vision, goals and objectives.
Plans, organizes, directs, and controls the daily activities involved in the effective and efficient management of the Perianesthesia schedules, providing continuous and high quality service to the patient and the surgeon. Reports to the Manager and works collaboratively with other members of the perioperative management team, and nursing administration.
Provides the resources to support the deliver quality patient care within in the organization. Coordinates and communicates between management, surgeons, Perianesthesia, and Perioperative healthcare providers.
Requires MI. RN licensure, BSN, BLS and ACLS,from the American Heart Association-Health Care Provider, a minimum of 5 years Preop and PACU in an acute care setting. Prior ICU experience, charge nurse experience, proven leadership and interpersonal skills. Management experience highly preferred.
NN 11 pay grade. Exempt status.
