This role within the Planning Department will allow you to add long lasting value to a company by understanding the overall supply chain with "hands-on" SAP experience.
Reporting to the Planning Supervisor, this position will focus on Planning and Material Management. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Participate and lead continuous improvement projects to help aid in the growth of the Planning Team
* Help create and run reports to benchmark the progress of the Planning Team
* To administer in the relabeling of materials at time of receipt
* Will help assist in Planning coverage for a specific group of materials, utilizing SAP screens
* To participate in subteam meetings to help aid in the development of the Planning Team
* To maintain and upload Receiving documents to a Sharepoint site
Learning Objectives:
* A Student Associate for the Perrigo Planning Team will gain an overall Supply Chain knowledge of direct buy materials. There are three categories this role will be able to participate in; preprint, packaging components, and raw materials.
* Gain procurement knowledge of SAP and work with the Materials Replenishment Program
* Work with tools such as Business Explorer and Crystal Enterprise
Required Experience:
* Progress towards a Bachelor's degree preferred; degrees related to business or Supply Chain Management highly preferred.
* Experience in Microsoft Office Suite with a focus in Excel.
* Ability to multi-task and prioritize day-to-day needs. Able to work independently, seeking direction if necessary.
* Effective oral and written communication skills
