POSITION SUMMARY:
This position for Thomson Aerospace & Defense (A Meggitt Company) will be responsible for customer contracts and report directly to the VP of Sales & Marketing. It is located in Saginaw, Michigan.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
In addition to the below, other duties may be assigned:
- Responsible for managing Meggitt contractual expectations as they relate to customer PO’s, contracts, agreements, NDA’s
- Interface and lead discussions with Meggitt Legal to drive closure on customer contract language and Government flow downs.
- Support VP sales in contract negotiations
- Owns internal contract review process
- Supports VP sales in the BAR development and review process
- Supervise, mentor and develop customer service group.

- Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, Power Point & Outlook
- 4-year degree in related field
- 2-4 years experience in contract management
- Ability to interpret and manage customer contracts
- Previous experience with an ERP system preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly with a willingness to obtain functional knowledge and understanding of company products, policies and procedures.
- Excellent oral & written communication and presentation skills.
- Superior telephone etiquette.
- Ability to understand and respond to customers in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment to improve the service levels to customers.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work well in stressful situations and to remain calm and positive in adverse situations.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions.
- Ability to deliver satisfactory solutions to the customer while operating within policies and procedures.

- Proven ability to find root cause and help solve process problems
- Previous experience with direct reports
- Previous experience in aerospace & defense strongly desired
- Due to ITAR requirements, must be a US Person
