POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Master Data Management Analyst creates, implements, and maintains master data management solutions that enable users to optimize system capabilities.. This role will focus on data quality specifically related to items, bill-of-materials, costs, routings, costs and vendors. Data inputs into systems will be evaluated and consistently improved for quality. The Senior Business Analyst should have strong business acumen and be capable of asking the right questions so that I.T. requirements can be developed.
CORE FUNCTIONS
Uses knowledge of end-to-end data processes to analyze, cleanse, and enrich master data elements, and ensure that data flows efficiently and consistently between users and stakeholders.
Serves as primary liaison to other departments to identify, document, and communicate business needs and provide IT solutions by using business and technical expertise.
Provides data governance and ensures data integrity by coordinating data management efforts across the organization.
Translate customer and departmental requirements into detailed technical designs in close collaboration with the development teamTrain department end users in the use of IT software to ensure effective and efficient utilization across the company.
Troubleshoots issues related to master data management and identifies opportunities for improving data management processes.
Lead the planning, analysis, and validation of both functional and technical business needs to ensure alignment with the company's strategic goals.
Analyze current and future business systems to determine if they align with the company goals and objectives.
Plan and facilitate end user documentation and testing.
Deliver reports, dashboards, and other imports and exports using advanced SQL and SSRS techniques.
Review, analyze, evaluate, and implement user needs to create system solutions that support overall business strategies.
Create system specifications that drive system development and implementation.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or IT Project Manager is required.
4+ years of experience utilizing ERP systems is required with experience migrating data into ERP systems.
Previous experience in development and maintaining work instructions and end-user manuals is required.
Experience in the entire SDLC lifecycle is required.
Experience in creating functional design documents is required.
Oracle JD Edwards required.
Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with a broad spectrum of team members.
Excellent documentation (project deliverables and functional spec.) and customer service skills.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to team with others to implement complex projects.
Understanding of core systems such as ERP, WMS, and EDI. Strong SQL knowledge.
Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing business processes such as scheduling, shop floor work order processing, manufacturing accounting inventory management, shipping.
Broad knowledge of data processing systems, concepts, and methodologies.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to map current-state and future-state processes.
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Travel
Occasional travel may be required; 20% or less
SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is an Individual Contributor: working team member with no oversight of others and no management responsibilities.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position is subject to sedentary work; Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involved sitting most of the time. Walking and standing are required only occasionally.

Visual Acuity
The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; expansive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly of fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.
Working Conditions
This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
