Performance Driven Workforce (PDW) is looking for hands-on, automotive professionals who thrive in a fast-paced, high-tech environment! PDW is now hiring Experienced Automotive Mechanics to work with a leading Tier 1 automotive supplier, working with experimental prototypes. This Full Time Automotive Mechanic position offers an AM day shift, PM night shift plus possible overtime and is based out of Romeo, MI. Responsibilities:
- Maintain vehicle functional condition by working off repair orders or leader instructions and conducting inspections
- Repair mechanical and electrical system malfunctions and replace parts and components
- Read, interpret, and follow service procedures
- Maintain vehicle records by entering notes, service, and repair orders
- Keep shop equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshootingbreakdowns, performing preventive maintenance, calling for repairs
- Participate in daily shop organization and clean-up
Shift:
- AM day shift & PM night shift: (Monday – Friday + weekends as needed)

Requirements:
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years' automotive technician / mechanic experience
- Mechanical ability and ability to operate shop equipment
- Must have own tools with rolling toolbox
- Must have well rounded technician / mechanical experience and knowledge
- Must have good organizational skills
- Must have good attention to detail
- Must possess the skills to read, comprehend, and execute written procedures
- Must be an automotive technician / mechanic with a high level of urgency, motivation, and enthusiasm to learn
Preferred Skills:
- Certificate in Automotive Technology or related
- State/ASE certifications
- Prototype build technician / mechanic experience
- Valid Driver's license
