The Charter Township of Shelby Parks, Recreation, & Maintenance Department is now accepting applications for a Part-Time/Seasonal Facilities Maintenance Worker. Interested applicants must be available to work approximately 30-40 hours a week, Monday - Friday between the hours of 7 a.m. - 3 p.m. The hourly wage for this position is $15.84 per hour, with no benefits. Applicants must be 18 or older and have a valid driver's license to operate Township vehicles and equipment. Some of the job duties associated with this classification would include, but would not be limited to:

• Assist full time employees with various projects and work orders, involving rough plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
• Assisting with the set-up and breakdown of equipment for events or meetings held at Township Facilities.
• Perform routine maintenance and janitorial duties for Township Facilities.
• Open parks, check/empty trash cans, check restrooms for cleanliness or problems, etc.
• Staining and Painting
• Pick-up and delivery of parts and supplies
