Positions Available for either Full-Time or Part-Time Hours
Note: Employees in these seasonal positions will work forty (40) hours per week, to perform seasonal work activities for a continuous period not exceeding one-hundred and twenty (120) calendar days.
An employee in this class performs a variety of park security, custodial and maintenance activities at all Muskegon County Parks under the general supervision of higher-level park personnel. Park Rangers patrol areas to insure safe and orderly use of park facilities, process registrations and accept fees, groom beaches, clean camp sites and assist in skilled maintenance activities. Employees in this class may be required to work any of three shifts including weekends and holidays. An employee in this class may also be responsible for performing a variety of unarmed security functions at the County’s Heritage Landing cruise ship docking facility.
