Position Summary: The Prep Cook supports the kitchen in all aspects of meal preparation, service and clean up.
Essential Responsibilities:
Help prepare all meals as assigned by lead kitchen staff
Assist in meal line serving and supply including using proper portioning utensils
Assist with receiving, verifying and proper storage of food orders daily
Clean and sanitize all areas in the kitchen including storage, prep, and cooking areas also taking out trash
Wash all used items, put away when dry
Wash, dry and fold kitchen laundry
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or GED, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Previous food service experience preferred
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
Computer Skills:
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
Working knowledge of TEAMS and SharePoint
Willingness to learn new software as needed
Certificates and Licenses:
Complete Safe From Harm training, and keep current as needed
