Position Summary: The Grounds and Sanitation position performs work relating to keeping the grounds and buildings cleaned and serviced daily to maintain cleanliness and sanitation.
Essential Responsibilities:
Upkeep of the campground as directed by supervisor including, but not limited to, grass cutting, leaf removal, tree and limb removal.
Weeding areas around buildings, waterfront, ball field, and other areas.
Clean and maintain the maintenance building and garages, in an orderly condition.
Vacuum Lakeview building between camps and as needed during camp sessions.
Assist in keeping meeting areas cleans
Check and service restrooms in Lakeview building, daily.
Wet mop Cedar Lodge as needed.
Keep driveways, steps, sidewalks, basketball and tennis courts clear of debris using power blowers and/or sprayers.
Empty trash cans around camp daily.
Clean the pavilion between camps.
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Has a basic knowledge and understanding of general cleaning and lawn maintenance.
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
Complete Safe From Harm training and keep current as needed
Computer Skills:
Basic understanding of Microsoft Office
Certificates and Licenses:
Complete Safe From Harm training, and keep current as needed
