We currently have an opportunity for a 1st shift CNC Lathe / Mill Changeover and Operator. This position requires a highly motivated person who can perform daily changeovers of all CNC mills and Lathes (Haas, Mazak & Mori Seiki) equipment.
Responsibilities for this position will include:
o Setting up and operating CNC machines
o Performing daily changeovers of all lathe/mill equipment to run different products. Changeovers include: setting of fixturing, zeroing of machine and tooling, and tool selection.
o Creation of 1st piece sample including all inspections and verifications.
o On-going product inspections and machine adjustments.
o Start-up and shut down of CNC machines
Requirements for this classification may include, but is not limited to:
o High School Diploma or GED required
o 1+ years experience preferred in change over of CNC equipment, Hass experience preferred.
o Knowledge of CNC Tooling
o Experience with precision measurement devices (i.e. calipers, micrometers, height gages..)
o Good interpersonal skills
o Must be able to communicate well with Departmental Leads and Production Scheduler.
o Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
o Strong mechanical aptitude
o On-going training as required
