GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for security of cash funds. Responds to customer inquiries; promotes, explains and cross sells bank products and services.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES:
Handles savings and borrowing customers at lobby or drive-through windows; receives funds, processes transactions and pays out funds as required. Balances daily transactions. Refers customer to appropriate, affiliate staff. Handles telephone inquiries, providing factual, routine or product information, as necessary. Performs general filing, mail processing, ATM balancing and similar tasks. Requires ability to exercise tact and discretion and to communicate clearly both orally and in writing. Responsible for areas of compliance as it relates to this position. Undertakes special projects relating to departmental services as assigned.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

$9.50/ HOUR
