Seeking a Systems Engineer for our team in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
Responsibilities:
Lead/Assist technical reviews with customers on product hardware related development issues, engineering change requests.
Maintain internal hardware related development issues log
Maintain customer defined documents for hardware development status
Capture vehicle communications data during development using standard or customer specific tools.
Capture vehicle electrical data, including oscilloscope traces, vehicle communication bus traffic monitoring, etc.
Perform preliminary issue analysis to be passed on to senior staff for further analysis.
Provide immediate management weekly reports
Requirements:
2 years experience in automotive infotainment systems engineering is a strong plus
Hardware related tool experience – multichannel oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, etc.
Soldering, wiring, test harness creation, bench and vehicle setup for test.
CAN tool experience – CANalyzer, CANoe, other related tools.
Familiar with Audio technologies is a strong plus
AM, FM, HD, SDARS, RDS-TMC
RF Front end processing concepts
Interprocessor communications familiarity (I2C, UART, SPI, etc.)
