Job Description
1. Contact HR representatives to set up health screenings.
2. Coordinate details and logistics of screenings.
3. Provide individual support and education in general wellness, fitness and nutrition.
4. Health coach high risk areas including but not limited to BMI, blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol, tobacco use, and more. This would be telephonic and face-to-face.
5. Create and administer corporate challenges.
6. Develop and deliver health education seminars.
7. Lead group fitness classes for clients upon request.
8. Evaluate program success and provide recommendations for improvement.
9. Perform biometric screenings.
10. Serve as an onsite wellness representative in company facilities as needed.
11. Customer service tasks including answering phones and individual questions.
Job Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree in Fitness, Nutrition, Health Promotion, Exercise Science, or a similar field.
2. Strong organization skills, task and detail oriented.
3. Excellent communication skills along with the ability to effectively interact with a diverse population of employees.
4. Ability to multi-task.
5. Excellent Microsoft Office proficiency including Excel, Word, and Powerpoint.
6. Familiar with blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes, and BMI.
7. Some travel is required.
8. Must be a non-tobacco user.
Preferred Skills/Experience
1. Motivational interviewing.
2. Nutrition/Fitness certification and/or experience.
3. Outgoing personality and strong interpersonal skills.
