The position serves as division leader within the State Budget Office and performs senior-level budget analysis for the Department of Community Health budget in the areas of Medicaid, Mental Health and substance abuse. The position coordinates and directs the work of budget analysts within the office in presenting recommendations to the office director, Deputy State Budget Director, the State Budget Director, and the Governor relating to the development and presentation of the annual Executive Budget. The position also directs staff activities to implement the budget upon enactment.
