Position Summary
The Facility for Rare Isotope Beams Laboratory is searching for a Scientist to support FRIB operations, research and development, operation support for high-channel density data acquisition systems for nuclear science experiments. Conduct, support research, design, develop (SDAQ) systems.

Required Degree
Doctorate -Physics or closely related field
Minimum Requirements
- PhD in Physics or a closely related field
- 1-year experience as a Research Associate or any related position in fundamental physics research
- 1-year experience in testing hardware, developing software for high-channel density data acquisition systems, working with object-oriented programming and C/C++ and Python, multi-channel detector system
