- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with a major in social work or human services field; AND two (2) years of experience working with individuals with mental illness, intellectual/developmental disabilities or substance used disorders and experience working with individuals through crisis intervention and/or community engagement. OR High School Diploma or GED AND Five (5) years of experience working with individuals with mental illness, intellectual/developmental disabilities or substance use disorders and experience working with individuals though crisis intervention and/or community engagement; and knowledge of community resources.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a Michigan Driver License within 30 days of employment.
- Must have reliable transportation that may have to be used to carry out job duties of this classificantion.
Preferred but not Required
- Bilingual candidates highly desired.
- Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valued.
- Individuals in Recovery and individuals with experience in Armed Services valued.
