Your role.
Your work will include, but not be limited to:
Assists with all aspects of the annual tax compliance for individual clients including planning, scheduling, projections, extensions, responses to tax notices, research, drafting client memorandum, calculating quarterly estimated payments, and billing.
Reviews individual income tax returns and tax projections for clients.
Trains tax return preparers on technical income tax concepts.
Demonstrates ownership over the status of all assigned projects to ensure all client delivery and statutory filing deadlines are met.
Maintains professional and effective communication with clients to gather information for the tax return preparation process.
Presents and discusses tax return results.
Assistance with non-1040 based tax projects during the year, including both recurring and special projects.
Analyzes new ideas and strategies to deliver tax savings opportunities based on tax research.
Develops relationships with others in our internal accounting department.
The qualifications.
Successful completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
Enrolled Agent or CPA required.
Technology skills including those required to be proficient with tax preparation software, and experience using common functions and formulas in Microsoft Excel.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills required to promote positive working relationships and explain/interpret tax information to non-tax people

Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) Information
Compensation is commensurate with technical skills and experience and is provided in accordance with the CO Equal Pay for Equal Work Act.
Compensation information posted is based on a position being located in the state of CO. Please review position location for applicable geographic location.
Colorado monthly base range is as follows:
$6,125.00 to $7,666.67
