We are currently accepting applications and resumes for a Die Cast Technician.
This would be a full-time position.
Candidates should have the following qualifications:
*Develop and optimize the oprating parameters for the die casting process and the methods to monitor them.
*Ensure that the establised process for each die cast machine cell is capable fo meeting the standard production output for both quantity and quality of castings produced
*Assist in the training and evaluating die cast personnel on the die casting process
*Establish and maintain the desing of required shot components used in the die cast process
*Assist the Tooling Engineer in the design of new tooling
*Establish and maintain the operation detail booklets for the die cast operations
*Assist in troublshooing and lead continuous improvement projects to the die cast process and tolling to increase productivity, quality, and safety
*Evaluate and decide on the usage fo new products, supplies, and processes in the die cast area and provide financial justification as required
*Analyze, justify and manage the implementation and usage of automation equipment in the die cast area
*Particpate in the APQP activites of new products
*Understanding of die cast processes, hydraulic principals, statistical process control, and program management skills
