If so, Copper Country Mental Health Services is hiring a full-time Supports Coordinator in their Autism Program in Houghton, Michigan. Entry level and advanced levels of experience encouraged to apply.
WHAT YOU WILL DO.
As a Supports Coordinator in our Autism Program, you’ll be at the forefront of providing essential services to children and young adults with ASD. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand each individual’s unique needs and strengths.
- Collaborate with clients and their families to develop individualized service plans using a person-centered approach.
- Monitor and evaluate client progress to ensure that services are effective and tailored to meet their evolving needs.
- Implement behavior treatment plans with compassion and sensitivity to support positive outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records.
WHAT WE OFFER.
- $42,244 – $59,928 annual starting pay based on education, licensure, and experience.

- Paid time off.
- Full-time Monday – Friday position generally working 8am – 5pm.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field preferred. Licensure in Social Work is desired, but not required.
- Alternatively, candidates with other Human Service degrees or a high school diploma will be considered.
- At least 1 year of experience working with children and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- A valid driver’s license is required as this position is based in Houghton County, but will travel to other counties.
- Ability to successfully pass a background screening.
