The Warehouse Production Lead will work with the team to meet the goals of the warehouse for safety, quality, and performance. The role will provide direction and assistance to the production team. The Warehouse Production Lead will also provide training, and hold employees accountable for compliance with the processes, rules and procedures established for their area of responsibility.
Responsibilities:- Ensure team in compliance and meets expectations for safety, quality, and production across multiple business units
- Create daily picking and packing employees’ schedule and request necessary resources to ensure quality and delivery targets are met
- Complete scheduled product audits
- Manage shop inventory and submit requests for supplies replenishment
- Address, resolve, or escalate any Physical Inventory Document (PID) or inventory issues or discrepancies preventing completion of daily PIDs
- Audit daily picks and First Pack Verifications to ensure process adherence
- Hold employees accountable for following proper processes and procedures
- Provide training and the re-training of team members
- Ensure the Production area is clean, organized, and safe
- Provide clear directions to the team and conduct daily communication team meetings
- Manage and maintain the production schedules in the corporate warehouse for all business units in which production is required
- Maintain a positive team-oriented work environment
- Meet production and shipping requirements for the customer in line accessory (ILA) program as well as any other program where applicable
- Complete the manufacturing and assembly of parts to meet customer specifications
Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience
