As a Technical Service Representative, you will ensure Automotive Coatings customer happiness by providing technical service onsite at an important, customer plant in Sterling Heights, MI. You will participate in Continuous Improvement, problem resolution, and provide positive impact to Plant and PPG goals. You will report to an Optima Solutions Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure accurate reporting to the Paint process team, PPG Technical and Account management.
Provide resolution to customer inquiries, application process monitoring, mix-room guidance, and hands-on support with concentration in Color and Appearance control to specifications
Engage with technical, production and non-technical personnel to satisfy customer requirements.
Qualifications:
5 years' field experience with multiple industrial coating technologies including solvent borne base coat/clear coat systems and plastic adhesion promoters, OEM paint approval process and specifications.
Excellent digital literacy, analysis and documentation experience
