Polytek® Development Corp. is a leading manufacturer of mold making and casting materials. Polytek® is currently looking for a highly motivated individual to join our rapidly expanding company.
Woodworking and/or Construction industry experience is a requirement of this job.
Essential Job Functions:
Major tasks and other key responsibilities include:
· Perform bulk sales for the consumer division domestic and international accounts.
· Respond to customer inquiries regarding product specifications and capabilities and applications.
· Learn/understand product specifications, capabilities and methods.
· Understand and stay current on competitive products.
· Support and manage small accounts internally.
· Qualify and process leads.
· Key internal support for distributor network.
· Help customers troubleshoot problems with products and processes
· Determine and authorize credits for returns or issues with products per policy.
· Provide customers with product selection support and samples to promote sales.
· Provide customers with appropriate product literature such as SDSs, Technical Bulletins and other training resources available on Polytek’s website.
· Provide physical and product knowledge support on job sites, for example with floor pours, countertop pours, shower walls
· Present and maintain a positive attitude with regards to Polytek management policies and instructions.
· Report safety concerns immediately to your supervisor, the Plant Manager or Safety Committee Member.
· Follow all rules set forth in Polytek’s Employee Policy Manual.
· Perform other duties as assigned.

· Must be able to sit at a desk for prolonged periods of time and work on a computer.
· Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time and perform repetitive tasks.
· Must be able to lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
· Must be able to bend, squat, walk, stand, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and repeatedly ascend/descend short flights of stairs/ladders for a full shift.
· Must be able to talk, hear and see with vision abilities including close/near, distance, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
· Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when entering manufacturing areas.
· Travel may include up to 5%.
Education and Experience:
· Must be able to understand, speak, write and read English.
· High school diploma/GED or Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
· Woodworking and/or Construction industry experience required
· 2-5 years of inside sales/customer development experience preferred.
· Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
· Must be a self-starter and have the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong verbal and written communication, including phone skills, and the ability to communicate technical processes clearly and concisely
· Strong organizational and time management skills, task-oriented
· Ability to build meaningful and long-term brand, affiliate and customer relationships
