Currently we are seeking Technicians for field work located in Flint Michigan. This project is a direct role with full benefits including a company vehicle and all equipment needed for position. After the project is completed next year 2015 those who are interested in travel may be able to as the company completes projects throughout the USA.
DUTIES: The Utility Inspection Technician inspects and compiles data on power lines, electric utility equipment, and telecommunication facilities attached to utility poles in the right-of-way. The Technician uses a field computer linked with a GPS unit to record data at each utility structure. The position is 100%outdoors and requires hiking from pole to pole with all pertinent equipment including: Computer, GPS receiver, and Digital Camera. FSE provides complete training of specific task needs for the position.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Full-time, hourly, permanent position. Continuous employment with FSE requires traveling to future projects throughout the US.
