Preferred applicant education and experience: Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering. Experience or courses in chemistry, including organic chemistry. 2-6 years laboratory and/or manufacturing experience.

Ability to use concepts of organic chemistry and the scientific method to design simple, relevant logical experiments.
Mechanical curiosity, creative thinking, and logic to solve problems.
Organizational skills and initiative to work effectively without immediate supervision.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent computer skills including word processing and spreadsheet, data base, presentation, ERP and CRM computer programs; experience with mini-tab preferred.
Excellent math skills with training in Algebra, Calculus and Physics.
