- Possess a Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or a closely related field; AND Have a minimum of two (2) years of full-time work experience in information systems;
OR
Possess an Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or a closely related field; AND Have a minimum of four (4) years of full-time work experience in information systems;
OR
Have completed work as an Information Systems Technician II for at least two (2) years.
- Individuals with experience in the Armed Services valued
- Must have reliable transportation that may have to be used to carry out job duties of this classification.
Preferred but not Required
- Understanding of Graphic Design and Branding
- Knowledge of Local Government programs and Operations
- Experience with Government CMS platforms such as Civic Engage and Granicus
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, and Social Media
