The Risk Management Analyst is responsible for the development, analysis, planning, and implementation of models supporting the risk management and insurance programs of the Company, and its subsidiaries and affiliate companies.
Essential Job Functions:
Develops, recommends, and administers risk management and loss prevention programs to attain maximum protection at the most economical rates. Manages the following activities:
- Maintains files on insurance policies, claims and risk management related programs.
- Coordinates the loss control inspections and claims process.
- Coordinates the day to day insurance and risk requests.
- Reviews contracts and obtains insurance certificates as needed.
- Requests Bonds and Letters of Credit as required.
Coordinates the insurance renewal process with the broker. Assist in notifying broker of changes in Company risk profile.
Gathers and analyzes underwriting information from a variety of sources within the Company. Maintains logs and files of claims and underwriting data.
Performs financial analysis to support financial and operational objectives throughout the Company.
Manages departmental and Company projects within time and budget guidelines, including the conduct of research, preparation of presentation materials, development of recommendations, project implementation, monitoring and revision as necessary.
Maintains knowledge of current trends and developments in the field to uphold responsibilities as subject matter expert.
