Scope of Responsibility
Cascade Engineering has an opening for a Process Technician Level 3. In this role, you will be responsible for starting up and shutting down, troubleshooting, programming, diagnosing and repairing equipment. This is a great opportunity to learn and grow in this technical position.

Location: West Plant (5055 36th Street. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49512)
Shift: 2nd Shift (3:00pm-11:10pm) and occasional overtime on Saturday/Sunday)
Target Pay: $23.07-$31.73
General Responsibilities:
Day to day – Performs set up and processing of plastic injection molding equipment. Timely and accurate installation and removal of injection molds, following quality/safety procedures. Set up and adjust assembly equipment, auxiliary equipment and robots.
Root Cause Analysis – Efficiently relay any equipment issues or breakdowns to the maintenance team in a timely and effective manner. Investigate molding defects like flash and short shots, recognizing opportunities for continuous improvement. Timely and effectively communicate any tooling issues to both the Shift Supervisor and the team's Process Engineer.
Documentation - Ensure all process are documented and performs all processing of injection molding machines per process sheet specifications.
