Title: Search Marketing Specialist (Full-Time)
Fluency Media is seeking a Search Marketing Specialist to help service the continued growth of our client base. An ideal candidate has 2-4 years of relevant search engine marketing experience, stays ahead of the curve in Search developments, loves to dissect online metrics, is thrilled by the process of testing copy/creative to find optimal performance, understands the role of PPC and SEO in the marketing mix, and can demonstrate specific expertise having been applied to client accounts in Adwords, adCenter, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Oversee search marketing programs for client accounts
- Work with the client marketing team to develop new ideas and innovations
- Manage PPC client campaigns
- Direct the execution of search marketing programs, including PPC and SEO
- Meet with clients as needed to provide recommendations, insights and overall program information
- Analyze campaign results and develop ongoing strategy and tactics for those programs
- Produce scheduled client marketing reports
- Understand clients’ businesses, target customers, offerings, positioning and messaging, and other factors that impact their overall sales & marketing efforts
- Monitor client-competitor initiatives
- Identify new opportunities for search accounts and create proposals
- Develop strategic and tactical plans for new client search programs
- Gather industry research for strategy development and optimization
- Develop and implement new program elements
- Provide information as needed to sales team on prospective client social media opportunities
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
- Extensive knowledge of the Internet, research tools, search engines and browsers
- Knowledge of other digital marketing: SEO, Social Media, Email and display advertising
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (proposals, business communication, marketing writing)
- Enthusiasm for exceeding customer expectations and strong relationship-building skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Great initiative, is highly motivated with a continued willingness to develop new skills
- Ability to multitask
- A high level of competence with MS Word, Outlook PowerPoint, and Excel
Preferred:
- At least 2 years of successful PPC program management experience
- Direct Client Management experience (Creating strategic & tactical campaigns)
- Experience in search engine optimization, including social media optimization
- Experience with web analytics such as Google Analytics, Omniture, and others
- Experience writing or editing professional content
