Job Description
Position is responsible for maintaining, calibrating, troubleshooting & repairing electrical & electronic equipment throughout the production facility.
Essential Duties
- Performs routine maintenance & calibration of process instrumentation
- Performs routine maintenance & calibration of process valves & positioners
- Troubleshoots instrumentation, electrical & valve problems
- Repairs instrumentation & valves
- Understands Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Distributed Control Systems (DCS) programming
- Generally works with 480 volts and below
- Communicates results verbally and in writing
- Maintains accurate calibration records, including paper forms and files, and electronic forms and databases
- Interpret Instrumentation and Electrical prints
- Follows SOP's and established safety guidelines
- Follows personal protective equipment requirements, which includes wearing of flame retardant clothing
- Maintains work area in a clean, safe and appropriate condition
- Works outside in all weather conditions
- Must be able to work at heights

Credentials and Work Experience
Bachelor of Science or Technical Degree in Electrical / Electronics, Military Electronics training or prior experience as an Instrumentation Technician / Journeyman Electrician is highly desired for the position.
Hours of Operation
Positions is located in Marysville, Michigan. Position is full time (40 hours/week). Typical hours are 7 am - 3:30 pm Monday through Friday. Must be willing to work overtime and off shift hours, including weekends and holidays.
