Job Description
Work directly with manufacturing teams to maintain maximum uptime and highest level of mechanical support for production and plant equipment. * Perform preventative maintenance activities as directed * Make recommendations for machinery improvements and perform projects as assigned * Responsible for replacing all machinery guarding, covers, and components when jobs are completed * Responsible for using the proper tools for the specific job assigned * Responsible for record keeping activities such as signing out spare parts, completing work orders, filling out process change requests or any other documentation as requested * Responsible for attending all scheduled meetings, documenting notes or assignments, reporting any project ideas, safety concerns, or work requests to supervisor. * May perform diagnostics of machinery, electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, programming, mechanical, and repair them to required standards. **EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE** High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Possess troubleshooting skills to repair and maintain electrical, electronic and mechanical components on machines including CNC machining centers, PLC controlled equipment, robotic, and leak test equipment. Required to change motors, oils, and assorted components. Unload and install machines and other maintenance functions. **LANGUAGE ABILITY** Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. **MATH ABILITY** Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole number. **REASONING ABILITY** Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
