Job Description
This position provides a variety of culinary and housekeeping tasks. Using basic skills, knowledge, past practices and tools, working from uniform methods and standards, as well as oral and written instructions; maintains the dining room and helps provide cleaning and sanitation of equipment, utensils and dishes; prepares, cooks, and bakes food, including the reconstitution and heating of convenience foods; prepares meals for residents with special dietary needs; and serves food in cafeteria line. Also will help with the cleaning of the buildings, furniture, and performs other related housekeeping tasks such as sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors, clean windows, fans, and light fixtures.
