Project Managers use both Agile & Traditional Methods to help the company deliver software that is valuable to the customer by working closely with teams and Product Managers to deliver software projects successfully. The Project Manager is responsible for driving and coordinating the planning, control and monitoring of development projects, support release planning as well as tracking and reporting progress toward release goals and milestones. The Project Manager also assists teams where necessary to encourage good practices that lead to high quality end results.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have experience waterfall methodology, working with technology and building construction teams. This person will be proficient with MS Excel and Word with practical knowledge of project management tools such as Innotas. He/She will have demonstrated project leadership experience and competency in project management and execution of medium to large scope IT infrastructure projects. Working knowledge of or experience in waterfall SDLC Best Practices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Lead the day-to-day management and coordination of assigned projects from inception to completion to include scope, schedule, budget, and status reporting.
• Responsible for the administration of projects.
• Serve as liaison between IT and all other non-IT departments to ensure success of projects
• Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.
• Uses Innotas to manage project.
Education and Training Requirement
• Bachelor’s degree is required with 5+ years of experience in Project Management or related field.
• PMP, PMI-ACP or CAPM certification strongly desired.
