Job Responsibilities:
As a Sales Associate, your main responsibility will be to present our Membership Program to our guests. You will conduct a pre-chat prior to each new potential member’s appointment in order to record personal information, and will then follow their appointment with a customized presentation based upon the client’s individual needs. You will also record all client and sales information for future follow-up.
Position Requirements:
As a Membership Sales Representative, you must have a strong aptitude for sales, be self-motivated, confident and enthusiastic. You must also be an effective communicator with the ability to memorize and present a script as though it weren’t scripted. It is also important that you are adaptable and responsive to feedback and that you enjoy working in a flexible and customer-focused team environment.
Essential Duties:
•Selling memberships to our guests
•Meeting all performance targets
•Answering the phone promptly and professionally
•Matching guests with the appropriate therapists for their individual needs and booking appointments for them
•Greeting guests and members as they enter the clinic
•Checking members in and out for appointments
•Upselling by suggesting enhancements, retail products, and gift cards to augment service
•Maintaining client files
•Documenting guest and client information and following up with both guests who do and do not purchase a membership
•Making follow-up calls to guests in order to process payments, confirm appointments and set new appointments
•Ensuring customer retention by learning things about them, calling them by name, and making them feel welcome and valued when they visit the clinic
•Assisting in maintaining the cleanliness of the facility
•Restocking shelves as needed
•Being available to work flexible days and hours
•Understanding, believing in and upholding Massage Envy Spa’s Vision and Value
Qualifications:
•High school diploma
•Prior sales training, a plus
•Proven ability to overcome objections
•Excellent customer service skills
•Basic computer literacy
•Customer-facing retail experience, preferred
•Experience with point-of-sale system, a plus
