Position Overview: As a Medical Assistant at Michigan Medical, you will play a crucial role in supporting healthcare professionals across various shifts. This position requires individuals who have proof of immunizations and a current flu vaccine before starting.
Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare professionals in routine clinical and administrative tasks.
- Take vital signs and prepare patients for examinations.
- Administer injections and medications as directed.
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens.
- Perform basic laboratory tests.
- Record patient information in electronic health records.
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain medical records.
- Provide assistance in maintaining a clean and organized medical environment.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program.
- Certification as a Medical Assistant.
- Proof of immunizations and a current flu vaccine.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced medical environment.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures.
Working Conditions:

Physical Requirements:
