The Lineworker Adjunct Instructor must be able to effectively communicate and demonstrate knowledge of specific technical skills in climbing, construction and maintenance of electrical lines at the Great Lakes Center for Utility Training in both a lab and classroom environment to a diverse student population. The successful candidate will be able to adjust instructional technique as required by student’s learning style while maintaining a positive learning environment. They must have the ability to collaborate with students and peers in order to establish a positive and collaborative learning environment along with providing a safe, operational and positive learning environment for our students and fellow faculty members where safety is not compromised and discipline is strictly enforced. They must be willing to teach various classes within the Electrical Technology. The successful candidate will demonstrate good climbing technique to climb wooden utility poles to a height of 40 feet. Must be current on regulations applying to electrical utility work such as OSHA, NESC, etc
