Job Description:
Reporting to the Quality Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the overall administration and day-to-day tasks of the color program to support the QMS goals of zero defects and 100% on-time delivery in a cost efficient manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop color formulations to meet customer expectations on new and existing programs. Submit Appearance Approval Reports and Engineering Change Orders when required. Meet with customers during color development.
Establish and maintain production color masters (PCMs); maintain customer color masters (CCMs), targets and standards.
Receive-inspect new lots of color, including documenting spectrophotometer results in database and analysis of trends.
Problem-solve issues related to color.
Administer color testing to employees.
Maintain a clean and organized work area; follow daily housekeeping and 5S standards.
Promote and maintain a culture and attitude of continuous improvement, working within the company team to make it more efficient, safety and an enjoyable place to work.
