We are seeking a CNC Machinist for a great medical company in GR. This is a very clean environment. The Machinist will monitor and control the quality of machining processes using process control tools such as control charts and statistical capability information.
Duties and responsibilities:
- - Read part print/OCP's and job routers for all product specifications
- -Use machine controls to cycle machine through production operators.
- -Maintain work area according to TPM and 5S
- -Set-up repeat jobs on a CNC machine.
- -Troubleshoot minor problems that ma ysurface as a result of tool, CNC program, fixtures or CNC machine.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- - Basic CNC troubleshooting skills in addition to machining principles.
- -Ability to perform minor set-ups
- Reading and interpreting technical documentation
- Proper use of micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators.
- Proven mechanical aptitude
- Reading and math skills for interpretation of technical documents.
Training and Education
If no direct CNC experience - MUST have CNC certificate/degree and/or 600+ hours training. No exceptions.
