Based out of our Corporate Headquarters, this internship will work with our Corporate Human Resources Talent Acquisition Team. As the Talent Acquisition Intern you will work closely with the Internship Program Manager in overseeing, managing and coordinating the Perrigo Corporate Internship Program. This will include full cycle internship recruitment and event planning.
Major duties will include:
- Management of requisition and approval process for internship requests within our applicant tracking system, assisting with developing recruitment strategies with hiring managers, sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, initiating pre-employment items, managing offers and overseeing the new hire paperwork and on boarding process.
- Planning and Coordination of resources for weekly Internship Development Activities for 25-50 Interns. These may include lunch and learns, volunteer days, and/or the Intern Olympics.
- Assisting with University Relations during Career Fair Season(s) by organizing and conducting pre-career fair meetings, maintaining and prepping the career fair booth and materials, and following up with top talent students.
Other duties may include but are not limited to:
- Managing the intern mid/final review process
- Assisting with Intern compensation reviews
- Scheduling Intern exit interviews
- Collecting, organizing and managing internship metrics

As the Talent Acquisition Intern you will also provide meaningful project support. The Talent Acquisition Intern will be involved in various projects related to the Perrigo Corporate Internship program These projects may include, but are not limited to:
Projects
- Internship Program Benchmarking
- Internship Program Metrics Tracking Tool Project
- Creating and maintaining an internal communication tool to communicate with all participants in the internship program regarding events, timelines, deadlines, activities, etc.
- Updating, maintaining, and administering intern satisfaction/feedback surveys and lead intern feedback meetings and discussions
- Developing intern alumni list and communication tools to reach out to and connect with past Perrigo interns
Experience Required
- Junior or senior status preferred.
- Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, or similar major preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc. is required.
- Experience and familiarity with various types of technologies, communication and design tools highly preferred.
- Strong business acumen and ability to interface with supervisors and managers.
- Understanding of and familiarity with social media tools is required.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment required.
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal are required.
This position will be part-time during the school year and full-time in the summer
