Job Summary: Works with production team member to ensure process methods are met and obtained. Provide technical support to the Manufacturing facility.
Essential Duties and Requirements of the Job:
Including the following, other duties may be assigned.
Accurately maintain and complete the Process Monitor sheet.
Pull last shots upon shutdown.
Complete Run Sheet and other tracking forms.
Change date/day wheels.
Must adhere to all safety and environmental policies.
Evaluate equipment for proper operation, notify maintenance for work orders if needed.
Verify quality standard using gages and measuring devices.
Seek Continuous Improvement methods to improve efficiency, quality and reduction of scrap.
Interact with Maintenance, Quality Control, Engineering and Tool room with Problem Solving issues to ensure production is not disrupted.
Ensure proper working order and cleanliness of tools.
Provide assistance to Die Setter, if needed.
Adhere to departmental budgetary allocations.
Ensure proper Start up and shut downs of the Molding presses.
Ability t start and shut down robots.
Maintain good attendance and punctuality.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Must be able to interact with coworkers and customers in a cooperative, respectful and professional manner.
Must have the ability to solve technical math problems (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, metric/English conversions.).
The ability to relay information in a logical manner.
Possess basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Participant and/or member of team building, Problem Solving, or Continuous Improvement teams.
Knowledge of different types of resins (nylons, acetal, PP, etc.)
Must possess safe work habits, a mature attitude and good attendance record and the ability to follow instructions in a timely manner.
High School diploma or GED.
Less than 2 years experience in processing of Injection Molding, including technical experience.
