The EE Architecture Tech Fellow position is for an individual with extraordinary knowledge in automotive electrical architectures, with extensive knowledge in cross-industry technologies and with demonstrated capability to drive technology innovations that can disrupt the automotive industry. The Tech Fellow is expected to be a recognized expert within the Electrical Architecture field. It is expected that such professionals will have delivered professional speeches about electrical architecture technologies at major industry events; would have cited work in referred journal publications and conference proceedings on the topic; have taught and/or developed courses in the area of expertise; and/or held technical leadership positions in professional organizations, industry committees or task forces.
The Tech Fellow will directly report to the Electrical Architecture Director and serve as consultant to Senior Executive Leadership to provide strategic guidance / direction on electrical architecture decisions for Stellantis.
Responsibilities:
Provide strategic vision and long-term planning for Stellantis electrical architectures that can serve as platforms for unconstrained innovations.
Serve as primary consultant to senior stakeholders providing technical guidance / vision for developing architecture solutions that enable the achievement of corporate goals.
Leverage internal and external knowledge sources/resources and influence senior management across the company in the development of hardware and software solutions in line with architecture vision
Influence, empower and support peer Technical Fellows, Technical Architects and other stakeholders in the execution of the architecture.
Develop electrical architecture and technology roadmaps that implement or surpass state-of-the-art solutions to take Stellantis to a technological leadership position among OEMs.
Create multi-year plans to operationalize a technology strategy, with key milestones, deliverables, and realization targets. Drive the execution of the plan along other stakeholders.
Maintains literacy on emerging technologies and leads with a culture of continuous learning.
Connects internal technical teams with industry experts.
Provides knowledge counsel to executive management on cross-divisional, cross-applications, and cross-technology issues.
Directs the assessment of integration and supports impacts of new, proposed, and existing electrical architecture technologies, and advises executive management.
Promotes the sharing of knowledge, and overall growth of the technical capability of the electrical architecture team thru trainings and other technical material explanations/presentations.
Hands-on approach, being in front and leading technical solutions and architecture decisions.
Create executive presentations that extract the essence of the subject/issue and convey complex problems in clear, concise and objective manner to enable strategic decisions.
Scrutinize and clearly communicate the technology and architecture choices we make across the company.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related degree field
Minimum of 10 years of industry experience in EE Architecture design, Electrical Engineering architecture roles or System/Subsystem designs.
Proven track record of technical leadership in implementing high-impact, cross-company initiatives.
Present evidence of being a recognized expert within the Electrical Architecture field (e.g. publications or speeches at relevant industry events, lead industry technology development in automotive consortiums, etc).
In-depth knowledge/understanding of Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) and its application in the automotive industry.
In-depth understanding of all vehicle systems and automotive technologies.
Experience in defining and designing large complex embedded networked architecture / computer systems including definition of system topologies, components, and interfaces.
In-depth knowledge/experience in Network Communication Design: CAN, CAN-FD, LIN and Ethernet protocols.
In-depth knowledge/experience in Automotive Ethernet based communication protocols: Audio Video Bridging (AVB); Time Sensitive Networking (TSN); Service Oriented approach (SOME/IP); TCP/UDP; MQTT.
Knowledge on off-board communication protocols (WiFi, 4G/5G, V2X connectivity).
Deep understanding of typical vehicle EE architectures and automotive development processes.
Established professional network within the ecosystem of automotive suppliers, and technology companies such as: Computer system technology companies; International Standard Committees (ISO, IEEE), Semiconductor vendors; Start-up companies.
Excellent communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal) in English.
Fluency in English is required, any other European language is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related degree field
Master or PHD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.
Successfully implemented or is leading the development/implementation of Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) for an OEM.
Knowledge of operational systems (QNX, Android, Adaptive Autosar, Classic Autosar)
Knowledge of (AWS) Amazon Web Services technologies.
Experience in hardware and software development for automotive.
Knowledge in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) to support definition and design of architectures and systems.
