The Talent Acquisition Specialist (Recruiter) is on the front lines of strategic initiative and lays the foundation for bringing in the workforce. The Talent Acquisition Specialist achieves forecasted candidate pool levels by utilizing market connections, resources and related media or other outlets to source qualified candidates. This role will rely on the plans to source pools created by the Manager – Talent Acquisition to create pools for the Service Delivery team to place the qualified candidates for clients.
This role works with local businesses, government entities and other talent acquisition partners to establish relationships throughout the community to more effectively identify talent. Effectively use latest technology to plan and execute talent acquisition activities within the market.
Partners with Talent Acquisition Team to ensure a detailed talent acquisition plan is created, implemented and adjusted to meet business opportunities within the local community. Routinely review the effectiveness of talent acquisition activities and the quality of candidates sourced.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Utilizes local relationships, networks, community and educational groups to source and qualify candidates
2. Partners with the Talent Acquisition team to create, modify and execute talent acquisition plans for the local market
3. Partners with fulfillment team to achieve pool targets.
4. Manages and influences the use of in person network and relationships within the talent acquisition strategy to achieve business results.
5. This role has the opportunity to reach other markets, potential clients and qualified candidates by building relationships across the organization to leverage best practices in uncovering talent in specific skill sets.
6. Influences the talent acquisition strategy by providing input into the market recruitment, talent acquisition and fulfillment strategies aligns to the overall talent acquisition strategy carried out in the local market.
7. Reviews and updates the field talent acquisition techniques in response to changing business plans and business opportunities.
8. Continuously identifies new partnership opportunities with community entities to strengthen in-market presence.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, HR, or business related Highly preferred
- 1 year experience using single or multiple talent acquisition strategies, including in person networking or relationship building activities
- 1 year experience with in-person recruiting, customer service or business development.
