Basic Qualifications:
- Extensive materials background relevant to lightweighting (e.g., in plastics, composites, aluminum, etc.)
- 5+ years of experience with authoring technical papers, reports, or program plans for technical and non-technical audiences on materials.
- BS degree in Chemistry, Metallurgical, Material Science or Engineering required. MS or PhD preferred.
- 5+ years of experience with research in materials in a government or industrial environment preferred.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Grant Management and proposal writing a plus.
- Extensive experience in implementing new materials in a small-firm manufacturing environment.
